Tom Huser, one of our M4S@School Ambassadors, has been volunteering in math classrooms at Harvest Collegiate, a high school in New York City. The teacher he works with, John Troutman McCrann, writes a column for Education Week about”his quest to integrate inquiry- and performance-based learning into his instruction, and how these concepts might inform education policy.”
McCrann recently offered his column space to Huser, who used it to describe what it’s like to be an M4S@School Ambassador and how teachers can take advantage of the help of classroom volunteers. Find out more by reading Help Us Help You: Five Tips for Working With Volunteers at Your School.
